Methodist Church Nigeria Moves Toward a New University in South East: Prelate Leads Official Visit to Umuimenyi, the Proposed Site
Umuimenyi, Bende, Abia State – The air of Umuimenyi carried both history and hope today as His Eminence, Dr. Oliver Ali Aba, JP, Prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria , led a distinguished delegation on an official visit to the proposed site of a new Methodist University near the historic Methodist Colony, Umuimenyi, Abia State. Accompanying the Prelate were top-ranking leaders of the church, including Rt. Rev. Dr. Babatunde Taiwo, TFG Secretary of Conference; Sir (Ide) Ifeanyichukwu Okechukwu, Conference Lay President; His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha, President of Vision Africa; and bishops from the Archdiocese of Umuahia.
